Google Account and YouTube Data

Glitch9 uses Google OAuth and YouTube API Services to enable users to connect their Google account and stream gameplay directly from Glitch9 to their own YouTube channel.

When you choose to connect your Google account, Glitch9 may access the following information, depending on the permissions you grant:

  • Google account email address
  • Basic Google profile information
  • YouTube channel information
  • YouTube live broadcast information
  • YouTube live stream information

Glitch9 uses this Google and YouTube data only to:

  • Authenticate the user
  • Connect the user's YouTube channel
  • Create and manage YouTube live broadcasts
  • Create and manage YouTube live streams
  • Enable streaming gameplay from Glitch9 to the user's own YouTube channel

Glitch9 does not access, store, or use Google or YouTube user data beyond what is required to provide these requested authentication, channel connection, and live streaming features.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Glitch9's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Data Retention

OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens are stored securely and retained only as long as necessary to provide the services requested by the user, including Google account authentication, YouTube channel connection, and YouTube live streaming functionality.

Glitch9 retains Google and YouTube data only for as long as necessary to provide the requested Service, comply with applicable legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Users may request deletion of their account and associated data by contacting Glitch9.

Data Deletion and Revocation

Users may disconnect their Google account from Glitch9 at any time. Users may also revoke Glitch9's access through their Google Account security settings:

Upon account deletion or disconnection, Google OAuth credentials are revoked or removed where applicable, subject to legal, security, and operational retention requirements.

Third-Party Sharing

Glitch9 does not sell Google user data. Glitch9 does not use Google user data for advertising purposes.

Glitch9 does not share Google user data with third parties except where required to provide the requested functionality, such as connecting to Google and YouTube services on the user's behalf, or where required to comply with applicable legal obligations.

OAuth credentials are encrypted in transit and at rest where applicable. Glitch9 uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect user information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
